Transition recreation- Missy Higgins: Everyones waiting

Transition Recreation 

- During the process of this recreation, we studied Missy Higgins song- Everyone's Waiting.

- We made test shots to begin the recreation of the music video, through using the same position and proximity mixed with the depth of field (the blurred background).

- Once we had successfully positioned our camera with the correct depth of field, we began filming.

We filmed this in 2 shots, the beginning where the actor is lip-syncing to the pan. Unfortunately the pan was not long enough to match the original video, however the fade in and blurring during the pan was effective. 

- After filming, we got straight into editing, the editing was effective and similar to the music video with our music syncing and the use of fade.

The use of this blog will be to document my media portfolio and the research and planning process:

- a media portfolio, comprising a main and ancillary tasks (film trailer, poster etc.)

- a presentation of research, planning and evaluation in digital formats.

Main Task Brief:

A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, a digipak for the album’s release, a magazine advertisement for the digipak.
